The C.G. Jung Institute CPH

The 6-year training programme offered by the C.G. Jung Institute of Copenhagen has been approved by the IAAP and, consequently, candidates who complete the programme are qualified to use the title "Jungian analyst IAAP".

This programme is the only IAAP approved training programme in Scandinavia and, accordingly, we currently have candidates from the entire Nordic region. The training programme is open to anyone who meets the entrance criteria but it does require potential candidates to have a good understanding of Danish as most of the tuition is in Danish.

Conversely, to ensure compliance with current international trends in analytical psychology, our staff includes English speaking teachers from other European countries.

ANALYSIS AT A REDUCED FEE WITH CANDIDATES OF THE C.G. JUNG INSTITUTE OF COPENHAGEN

When a candidate is half-way through the training programme, he or she may apply to the executive committee of the Institute for permission to begin seeing clients under supervision. If the candidate is deemed ready and able, permission will be granted and the candidate may begin to accept clients under supervision and at a reduced fee.

If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity for analysis at a reduced fee, you should send an e-mail to institut@cg-jung.dk, outlining your reasons for wanting analysis and giving a bit of background about your life. Based on this, the director of studies will determine whether your issues can be suitably handled by a candidate and, if so, refer you to the nearest and/or best qualified candidate open for new clients. In some cases, the director of studies may - for various reasons - choose to suggest one of the fully qualified analysts instead.
